SRS Unit: Removal
- Before proceeding, See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bags and seat belt tensioners. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
- Remove right and left side covers from SRS unit. See Fig 1 . Disconnect SRS main harness 18-pin connector from SRS unit. Remove Torx bolts securing SRS unit. Remove SRS unit from console.
