Activating System (MPV, Protege & 626)

  1. Ensure negative battery cable is disconnected. Connect side air bag connectors to vehicle harness under front seats. Connect passenger air bag module connector to vehicle harness. Install glove box.
  2. Connect driver air bag module connector to vehicle harness. Install steering column cover. Connect negative battery cable. Ensure AIR BAG indicator light operates correctly. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
