WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect park pin/OD switch connector. Check for continuity between park pin/OD switch connector terminals No. 1 (Green wire) and No. 2 (Black wire). If continuity exists with OD switch pressed and does not exist when released, check terminals and connection at park pin/OD switch connector. If terminals and connection are okay, replace park pin/OD switch assembly. See OD SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If continuity is not as specified, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect PCM harness connector "D". Check for continuity between park pin/OD switch connector terminal No. 1 (Green wire) and PCM harness connector "D" terminal No. 8 (Pink wire). If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair open Green wire between PCM and park pin/OD switch.
  3. Check for continuity between PCM harness connector "D" terminal No. 8 (Pink wire) and ground. If continuity exists, repair short to ground in Pink wire. If continuity does not exist, go to next step.
  4. Check for continuity between park pin/OD switch connector terminal No. 2 (Black wire) and ground. If continuity exists, replace PCM. If continuity does not exist, repair open Black wire between park pin/OD switch and ground.
