Circuit Description

Powertrain Control Module (PCM) uses Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor signal to determine which cylinder is misfiring when a misfire is present. When PCM receives an intermittent signal from CMP sensor, the CMP ACTIVITY counter will increment.
