CR-V & Prelude

Disconnect negative battery cable. On CR-V, remove driver's side lower instrument panel cover and knee bolster. On Prelude, remove instrument panel lower cover, below steering column. On CR-V or Prelude, disconnect 3-pin and 5-pin connectors from steering column harness. Check continuity between specified connector terminals, with ignition switch in appropriate position. See FigureFig 1, and Fig 2 . If continuity is not as specified, replace ignition switch.
