Remove driver's side lower instrument panel cover and knee bolster to gain access to clutch interlock switch connector, if necessary. Disconnect 2-pin connector from clutch interlock switch. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between switch terminals. Clutch interlock switch is normally open. Continuity should not exist when clutch pedal is released. Continuity should exist when clutch pedal is depressed. If readings are not as specified, replace clutch interlock switch.
