Accord, Civic, Cr-V & Prelude: Adjustment

  1. Loosen the mounting bolt and locknut.
  2. Turn the adjusting bolt to obtain the proper belt tension, then retighten the locknut and mounting bolt.
  3. Recheck the belt tension.
  4. If a new belt has been installed, run the engine for 5 minutes, then readjust the belt to the used belt specification.
