Upper Control Arm & Ball Joint: Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure. On Hombre, install pivot shaft so depression faces inward. On Amigo, Rodeo, Trooper and VehiCROSS, ensure pivot shaft is installed in direction shown. See Fig 1. On all model, ensure shim(s) are installed in original location. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Check wheel alignment. See SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in WHEEL ALIGNMENT.
