Except Hombre

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 17 other vehicles, including the 2001 Isuzu VehiCROSS, 2001 Isuzu Trooper, 2001 Isuzu Rodeo Sport, 2001 Isuzu Rodeo, and 2000 Isuzu VehiCROSS. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Rear riding height inspection procedures and specifications for Amigo, Rodeo, Trooper and VehiCROSS are not available from manufacturer.
  1. To measure front riding height, jounce vehicle several times and allow suspension to settle. Obtain dimension "Z" by subtracting dimension "A" from dimension "B". See Fig 1. Dimension "Z" is true front riding height.
  2. Ensure front riding height is within specification. See RIDING HEIGHT SPECIFICATIONS (EXCEPT HOMBRE)  table. If front riding height is not within specification, adjust height control arms by rotating adjusting bolts. See Fig 2. If correct riding height cannot be obtained by adjustment, inspect suspension components for damage or wear. Replace components as necessary and recheck.
