Removal & Installation (3.2L & 3.5L)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove air cleaner duct assembly. Remove throttle cable assembly. Disconnect PCV hose, EVAP canister vacuum hose and vacuum booster hose.
  2. Disconnect electrical connectors from ignition control module, linear EGR valve, MAP sensor, EVAP canister purge valve, TP sensor, IAT sensor and IAC valve. Remove EGR supply tube and bracket. Remove throttle body. See THROTTLE BODY . Move throttle body and wire aside.
  3. Remove MAP sensor and bracket. Remove bolts and nuts securing manifold and PCV fresh air tube bracket. Lift manifold straight up, and cover intake openings.
  4. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
