Removal & Installation
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2000 Isuzu VehiCROSS, 2000 Isuzu Trooper, 2000 Isuzu Rodeo, 2000 Isuzu Hombre, and 2000 Isuzu Amigo. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Relieve fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect air cleaner duct from throttle body. Disconnect electrical connectors (TPS, IAC, and IAT if applicable). Disconnect coolant lines.
- Disconnect accelerator cable from throttle body. Remove throttle body from intake manifold.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Adjust accelerator cable. See ACCELERATOR CABLE (2.2L AMIGO & RODEO, 3.2L & 3.5L) .
