Removal & Installation (2.2L Amigo & Rodeo)

  1. Relieve fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect fuel inlet and return lines. Disconnect fuel injector electrical connectors. Remove fuel rail wiring harness nuts. Remove fuel rail-to-intake manifold bolts.
  2. Remove fuel injector retaining clip. Remove fuel injector from fuel rail. Remove "O" ring. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
