Removal & Installation (3.2L & 3.5L)

- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove gas cap. Drain fuel tank by removing fuel tank drain plug. Replace fuel tank drain plug.
- Disconnect fuel tank wiring connectors and evaporative hoses. Remove fuel filler hose. Remove fuel pressure and return lines. Remove fuel tank. Remove sending unit screws and fuel pump.
- To install, reverse removal procedures. Tighten sending unit screws. Ensure fuel tank drain plug is tightened to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
