Removal & Installation (2.2L Amigo & Rodeo)

- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove gas cap. Drain fuel tank by removing fuel from filler neck. Remove fuel pump relay. See FUEL PUMP RELAY LOCATION table.
- Disconnect fuel tank wiring connectors and evaporative hoses. Remove fuel filler hose. Remove fuel pressure and return lines. Remove fuel tank. Using Fuel Pump Remover (J-39763) twist fuel pump counterclockwise to release from fuel tank. Lift fuel pump from fuel tank. To install, reverse removal procedure.
