Removal & Installation (4.3L Hombre)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove CMP sensor. See CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR . Remove distributor assembly. Remove oil pressure sensor. See Fig 1. Remove knock sensor.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Before installing KS, clean threads in engine block thoroughly. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
NOTE: DO NOT apply thread sealant to sensor threads. Sensor is coated at factory and applying additional sealant will affect ability to detect detonation.
