Removal & Installation (3.2L & 3.5L)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove engine cover. Remove upper intake manifold. See UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD (PLENUM) . Remove camshaft position sensor wiring connector. Remove sensor mounting bolt and sensor from left cylinder head.
  2. Before installing new sensor, inspect "O" ring for damaged or wear and replace if necessary.
  3. To install, lubricate "O" ring with engine oil and reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
