Circuit Description

Vehicle Control Module (VCM) EEPROM contains data which is necessary to running engine and transmission. VCM program stores this data in EEPROM. Data remains in EEPROM even if battery is disconnected. At start, VCM checks integrity of this data. If EEPROM data does not match a predetermined value, DTC P1621 sets.

Condition required to set DTC is:
