Circuit Description

Vehicle Control Module (VCM) contains memory area called keep alive memory which stores engine data when ignition is off. DTC is set when essential engine data is unintentionally lost or changed.
Condition required to set DTC is:
- Keep alive data at start-up does not match data stored when system power is turned off.
