Step "B"

  1. Turn ignition off and reconnect EVAP purge control solenoid valve 2-pin connector. Perform PCM reset procedure. See SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - INTRODUCTION article.
  2. Start engine and allow to idle. Turn blower motor to high speed and A/C on. Check engine idle speed after one minute. See IDLE SPEED SPECIFICATIONS (CIVIC D16Y5 ENGINE CVT)  table. If engine idle speed is not as specified, go to TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES article. DO NOT adjust idle speed with A/C on. Turn ignition off and reconnect EVAP purge control valve 2-pin connector.
