Gear Position Indicator Input Test
Turn ignition off. Remove gauge assembly from instrument panel. See GAUGE ASSEMBLY under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect gauge assembly 14-pin connector. Check gauge assembly connector for loose, damaged or corroded terminals. If problem exists, repair connector as necessary. If problem does not exist, perform gear position indicator input test. See Fig 1 . If any input test is not as specified, repair indicated fault. If all input tests are as specified, replace printed circuit board.
