Oil Pressure Switch Test
NOTE:
This test also applies to low oil pressure indications.
Disconnect oil pressure switch connector (located above oil filter). Check continuity between ground and oil pressure switch terminal (component side). With engine off, continuity should exist. With engine running, continuity should not exist. If switch fails to operate as described, check engine oil level. Warm up engine and check oil pressure. See OIL PRESSURE SPECIFICATIONS table. If oil level and oil pressure are okay, replace oil pressure switch.
