Free Play

With engine off, check brake pedal free play by pushing pedal by hand. Free play should be .04-.20" (1-5 mm). If pedal free play is out of specification, adjust brake switch. See Fig 2 .
Screw in brake switch until plunger is fully depressed. Back off switch 1/4 turn so that there is .01" (.3 mm) clearance between threaded end of brake switch and pad. Tighten lock nut and connect brake switch connector.
