Right Mirror Inoperative

  1. Remove power mirror switch. Disconnect switch from harness. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Turn ignition on. Using jumper wires, connect power mirror switch harness connector terminals A9 (Yellow/Black wire) to A6 (Yellow/White wire), and A5 (Blue/White wire) or A3 (Light Green wire) to ground.
  2. If mirror does not tilt down (or swing left), check for open in Blue/White wire (or Light Green wire) between mirror switch and mirror. If wiring is okay, check mirror actuator. See POWER MIRROR ACTUATOR  under COMPONENT TESTS. If mirror neither tilts down nor swings left, repair open in Yellow/White wire between power mirror switch and mirror actuator. If mirror operates correctly, check mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS.
