Removal & Installation (Prelude)

Disable air bag system. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. Remove instrument panel lower cover and knee bolster, door sill molding, left kick panel and access panel. Disconnect 5-pin connector from underdash fuse/relay box and 3-pin connector from main wiring harness. Remove steering column covers. Insert ignition key and turn key cylinder to "0" position. Remove switch cover. Remove 2 switch mounting screws and remove switch. To install, reverse removal procedure.
