Grid Filament Repair

Clean broken wire tips thoroughly. Place masking tape along both sides of broken wire. See Fig 1. Apply silver conductive paint to broken section of grid, extending about 1/8" on both sides of break. After 30 minutes, check for continuity in repaired wire. Apply second coat of paint. Remove masking tape after paste has dried. Wait 24 hours before using defogger.
