Defogger Coil Test: Prelude

Disconnect single wire and 2-pin connectors from defogger coil. Using a DVOM, check continuity between terminals A1 and B2. See Fig 1. Continuity should exist. Check continuity between terminal B2 and component ground. Continuity should exist. If continuity does not exist between terminals A1 and B2, or B2 and component ground, replace defogger coil.
