Removal (Prelude)

Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel assembly. Lower the rear seat, and remove trunk side trim. Remove 2 upper strut mounting nuts. Remove cotter pin and upper ball joint castle nut. Install a hex nut on the ball joint stud to protect threads. Using Ball Joint Remover (07MAC-SL00200), separate ball joint and knuckle. Remove strut mounting bolt. Lower rear suspension and remove strut assembly.
