Disassembly & Reassembly (Accord 3.0L)

Remove end plug from steering gear housing, then remove pinion shaft end nut. Remove 2 flange bolts, valve unit and gasket from steering gear. Check that valve turns smoothly by turning pinion shaft. If any play or roughness is felt, replace valve body unit with a new part if necessary. DO NOT try to disassemble valve body unit. For reassembly reverse procedure. See Figure .
