Driver's Side MCU
- Remove underdash fuse/relay box. Remove driver's side Multiplex Control Unit (MCU). See Figure . Inspect connector terminal connection for bent, damaged or corroded terminals. Repair as necessary. If connections are okay, go to next step.
- Using a DVOM, check MCU connector terminal A2 of underdash fuse/relay box cavity. See Figure . With combination light switch on, reading should indicate battery voltage. If reading is as specified, go to next step. If reading does not indicate battery voltage, check No. 10 (15-amp) fuse of underdash fuse/relay box, faulty combination switch or open in wiring.
- Check MCU connector terminal A7 for continuity to ground. Continuity should exist at all times. If continuity to ground does not exist, check for an open in wiring or a poor connection at harness grounds G401 and G402. Repair as necessary.
