Key Switch

  1. Remove lower steering column cover for access to 2 pin wire connector. Separate connector and position ohmmeter probes on terminals. See Fig 1 .
  2. With key in ignition switch, turn to the "ON" position, then to "LOCK" position and remove key. Continuity should register while key is inserted. There should be no continuity after key is removed from ignition switch.
