Auxiliary Intake Valves: Installation

  1. Coat valve parts with oil before assembly. On 1.3L, 1.5L, and 1.75L engines, install chamber in each auxiliary valve hole with 2 new gaskets. Insert alignment tool (07944-6590000) in spark plug hole to center the chamber.
  2. Install new "O" ring on auxiliary valve assembly, then install in chamber. Using "T" wrench tool (07907-6570001), torque lock nut to 58 ft. lbs. (80 N.m).
