Master Cylinder: Reassembly

  1. Coat all parts with brake fluid and reverse disassembly procedure.
  2. Use a rotating, twisting motion while pushing pistons into cylinder bore. Use cup guide tool to compress secondary piston, when installing stop bolt with new gasket on Civic models.
  3. Install snap ring and bench bleed master cylinder. Check master cylinder push rod-to-piston clearance and adjust before installation.
