Wheel Bearing: Removal

  1. Remove steering knuckle. See Steering Knuckle in this article. Remove splash guard, snap ring, outboard bearing inner race and bearing. Flip knuckle over, remove inboard dust seal, inboard bearing inner race and bearing.
  2. Press bearing outer race out of knuckle. Remove outboard bearing inner race from hub using bearing puller. Remove outboard dust seal from hub. Wash knuckle and hub thoroughly before reassembly.
