Pedal Height

  1. Pedal height is measured from center of pedal pad to floorboard (without carpet or floormat). To adjust, loosen brake light switch lock nut and back switch away from brake pedal arm.
  2. Loosen power unit push rod lock nut and rotate push rod to adjust pedal height. On Civic models pedal height is 7.25" (184 mm). On Prelude models pedal height is 7" (176 mm). On Accord models pedal height is 7.36" (187 mm).
  3. Tighten lock nut. Reposition and adjust stop light switch. Check for proper brake pedal free play. Free play on all models is .05-.20" (1-5 mm).
