Removal (Civic Hatchback and Wagon)
- Disconnect battery ground cable. Remove steering wheel. Disconnect column wiring harness. Remove bolts from upper bracket and lower bracket of column. Remove lower bolt on universal joint (at steering gear) and remove column.
- Remove bulb access cover at top of cluster. Remove 2 mounting screws through access cover opening. Remove lower cluster bolt and screw. Pull cluster out part way. Disconnect speedometer cable and tachometer cable (if equipped). Unplug connectors and remove instrument cluster with switches
