Diagnostic Aids

To disable shorting bar from terminal No. 6 to terminal No. 7 inside SDM harness connector, SDM harness connector must be properly connected to SDM and CPA must be properly installed in SDM harness.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to specific step numbers on diagnostic chart and may skip step numbers. No information has been left out. For circuit number identification, see WIRING DIAGRAM .

2) This test checks for sufficient IGNITION 1 voltage applied to SDM.
3) This test checks for excessive IGNITION 1 voltage applied to SDM.
4) This test checks for correctly installed CPA.
6) This test checks if SDM is turning AIR BAG warning lamp on.
