Circuit Description

When ignition is first turned on, IG-COIL meter fuse applies battery voltage to AIR BAG warning lamp connected to air bag indicator terminal No. 7. AIR BAG fuse applies battery voltage to IGNITION 1 input, terminal No. 8. SDM responds by flashing AIR BAG warning lamp 7 times. If IGNITION 1 is outside of normal voltage range (8.2-17.1 volts), AIR BAG warning lamp will come on steady with no DTC set.
