Diagnostic Aids

The following can cause an intermittent condition.

• A short circuit between CKT G/R and CKT G.
• A short circuit between CKT G/R and CKT Y/R..
• A short circuit between CKT G/R and CKT Y.
• A malfunctioning shorting bar on air bag steering wheel module connector or coil column connector.
  NOTE: For circuit number identification, see WIRING DIAGRAM  . This test checks deployment loop resistance measured by SDM.
