Diagnostic Aids

The following can cause an intermittent condition:

• Poor connection at air bag instrument panel module harness connector terminal No. B1 and terminal B2.
• Poor connection at SDM terminal No. 4 and terminal No. 3.
• Open in CKT Y/R.
• Open in CKT Y.
  NOTE: Test numbers refer to specific step numbers on diagnostic chart and may skip step numbers. No information has been left out. For circuit number identification, see WIRING DIAGRAM  .

1. 2)  This test checks deployment loop voltage differential measured by SDM.
2. 3)  This test checks for proper contact and/or corrosion of Yellow  2-way connector.
