Diagnostic Test

  1. Perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  . Go to next step.
  2. Raise and support vehicle. Turn ignition on. Deplete vacuum booster reserve by pressing brake pedal several times, until firm. Re-apply firm pressure on brake pedal and hold. With the help of an assistant, try to spin left front wheel by hand. If brake holds, go to step 4). If brake does not hold, go to next step.
  3. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Install scan tool. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, perform GEAR TENSION RELIEF. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Replace ABS motor pack. Go to step 5).
  4. Malfunction is intermittent or not present at this time. Go to DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
  5. Reconnect 6-pin motor pack connector. Turn ignition switch on. Using scan tool, perform RE-HOME TEST. Go to DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
