  6. Measure resistance between IP harness Gray 16-pin connector C1 terminal No. 6 (Light Green/Red) and EBCM connector C1 terminal D4 (Light Green/Red). If resistance is less than 2 ohms, go to step 13). If resistance is greater than 2 ohms, go to step 12).
  7. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Reconnect connectors (if disconnected). Install scan tool. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, select LAMP TEST. If Blue ABS ACTIVE light illuminates, go to next step. If Blue ABS ACTIVE light does not illuminate, go to step 14).

  9. Replace IG-COIL METER fuse. Go to step 17).
  10. Replace ABS ACTIVE light bulb. Go to step 17).
  11. Repair open or high resistance in Black/White wire between IG-COIL fuse and IP connector C3 terminal No. 11. Go to step 17).
  12. Repair open or high resistance in Light Green/Red wire between EBCM connector C1 terminal D4 and IP connector C3 terminal No. 6. Go to step 17).
  13. Inspect IP printed circuit board for cuts or cracks causing an open circuit to ABS ACTIVE light. Repair as necessary. Go to step 17).
  14. Inspect the EBCM connector C1 and IP connectors for poor terminal contact. Repair as necessary. Go to step 17).
  15. Replace EBCM. Go to step 17).
  16. Malfunction is not present at this time. Go to step 17).
  17. Reconnect EBCM (if disconnected). Turn ignition on and observe Blue ABS ACTIVE light. If Blue ABS ACTIVE light illuminates for 3 seconds, then turns off, system is okay. If Blue ABS ACTIVE light does not illuminate for 3 seconds, then turn off, perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
