Suspension - Front: Description
Tracker uses MacPherson strut type, independent suspension. Upper end of strut is anchored to vehicle body by strut support. Lower end of steering knuckle is attached to ball joint, which is attached to suspension control arm. See Fig 1 .
Movement of steering wheel is transmitted to tie rod end and then to steering knuckle, causing wheel and tire to move. With movement of steering knuckle, strut also rotates by means of strut bearing and lower ball joint.
