Installation (4-Wheel Drive)

  1. Apply Sealant (1050026) to oil pan seal surface before installation. Install NEW gasket on oil pump pick-up tube. Install oil pump pick-up tube and oil pan.
  2. Tighten oil pan bolts to specification, starting at center and moving outward. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . When installing front differential, install all differential-to-bracket bolts before tightening bolts to specification.
  3. To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . When installing locking hub, use NEW "O" ring. Fill front differential and engine with lubricant.
