Valve Seat Correction Angles

Valve seat contact area can be made wider using a 45-degree seat cutter. Seat contact area can be narrowed using a 15-degree cutter on outer seat area. On 8-valve, seat contact area also can be narrowed using a 60-degree cutter on the inner area furthest from the combustion chamber.
