Wiper Motor Inoperative

  1. Turn ignition and rear wiper on. Using test light, backprobe wiper/washer switch connector Yellow/Blue wire to ground. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open in Yellow/Blue wire between fuse block and switch.
  2. Using DVOM, backprobe Orange wire at switch connector to ground. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, replace switch.
  3. Backprobe wiper motor connector Orange wire terminal to ground. If test light comes on, replace wiper motor. If test light does not come on, repair open in Orange wire between switch and motor.
