Wipers Operate More Than Once In MIST Position

  1. Using test light, backprobe wiper motor connector Blue wire terminal to ground. Press combination switch to MIST position and release. If test light comes on steadily, go to next step. If test light comes on and goes off, replace wiper motor.
  2. Disconnect combination switch connector. Connect test light between ground and connector Blue wire terminal at harness side. If test light does not come on, replace combination switch. If test light comes on, repair short to voltage in Blue wire between switch and wiper motor.
