Wipers Operate At High Speed; Switch in LO Position

  1. Turn ignition on. Backprobe wiper motor connector Blue/Red wire terminal to ground. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, replace wiper motor.
  2. Disconnect combination switch connector. Using test light, check Blue/Red wire terminal on switch side to ground. If test light does not come on, replace combination switch. If test light comes on, repair short to voltage in Blue/Red wire between switch and motor.
