Wipers Inoperative in Low Or High Speeds

  1. If wipers are inoperative in low speed, replace combination switch. If wipers are inoperative in high speed, turn ignition on and use test light to backprobe wiper motor connector Blue/Red wire terminal to ground. If test light does not come on, go to next step. If test light comes on, replace wiper motor.
  2. Turn ignition on. Using test light, backprobe combination switch connector Blue/Red wire terminal to ground. If test light does not come on, replace combination switch. If test light comes on, repair open in Blue/Red wire between switch and wiper motor.
