Wheel Bearing & Hub: Installation

On 2WD models, pack bearings with wheel bearing grease. Install inner wheel bearing and snap ring. Coat seal lip with bearing grease and, using Wheel Hub Seal Installer (J-37774 ), install inner grease seal. Install outer wheel bearing into hub.
On all models, install hub assembly onto spindle. Using Wheel Bearing Socket (J-37763 ), install bearing lock nut and tighten to 155 ft. lbs. (210 N.m). To complete installation, reverse removal procedures. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
