Fuel Gauge Indicates "F" At All Times
- Unplug fuel gauge sending unit connector. If fuel gauge indicates "E", replace fuel gauge sending unit. If fuel gauge indicates "F", unplug 13-pin instrument panel cluster assembly connector. Using a DVOM, check resistance between terminal No. 4 (Yellow/Red wire) and ground.
- If resistance is not infinite, repair short to ground in Yellow/Red wire. If resistance is infinite, check instrument panel cluster printed circuit for cracks and poor connection. If printed circuit is okay, replace fuel gauge.
